#1 Bourbon and Apple Toddy

a hot toddy cocktail on a red plaid blanket in front of a fire

use apple pie syrup and bourbon in the recipe for a fall apple toddy. this drink Works well in a thermos, an insulated drink dispenser or serve in a crockpot for parties. keep warm for serving!

Make it a non-alcoholic Apple Toddy:

Omit the bourbon, use Apple Pie syrup, and add 1 ounce of orange juice for a non-alcoholic version that is pure comfort, no booze!

#2 Winter White Wine Sangria

this low abv option is so festive for parties, inexpensive to make and takes very little effort for a host. Works well in a drink dispenser or pitcher for parties. Add sparkling wine just before serving! add fruit directly to cups if using a spigot.

Make it a non-alcoholic Winter White Sangria

Non-alcoholic wines have come a long way and are enjoyable on their own (but not all- some are unfortunately sweet, so read reviews or taste before buying.) I am a huge personal fan of Joyus wines, a female founded company in the PNW that I’ve tasted through and found all of their wines to be delicious! The award-winning wines bring all the social, celebratory, and cultural elements of drinking to the non-alcoholic variety. Premium wine is produced in the heart of California’s wine country before the alcohol is gently left behind in a dealcoholization process, delicately preserving the wine's aromas and flavors.

#3 Gluhwein- Mulled Wine with Simple Syrup

the classic mulled wine recipe gets an update with apple pie, berry sage, or rhubarb vanilla bean syrups! This cocktailWorks well in a drink dispenser for parties. Add club soda just before serving! serve warm in a crockpot on low for parties

Make it an alcohol-free Gluhwein

use an alcohol removed red wine, or replace the wine with 25 ounces of hot water and steep in 3 bags of red rooibus tea for a bright hue and tannins that are reminiscent of red wine.

#4 Freezer Door Batched Old Fashioneds

a woman holding an old fashioned cocktail and a bottle of apple pie syrup

Old Fashioneds have extremely stable ingredients and therefore are a brilliant choice for pre- batching, They also have no carbonation so you can actually batch a whole lot of them, bottle them up and store them in your freezer for a very long time. This recipe makes 9 drinks, and fills a 32 ounce bottle.

#5 Winter Citrus Mimosa

a layered mimosa cocktail with winter styling, on a plaid blanket

everyone's go to morning cocktail gets an update if you use it as a chance to let fresh squeezed winter citrus like pommelo, grapefruit, and cara cara oranges shine. to the recipe linked above, add 1 ounce of fresh squeezed juice in each cocktail, and pair it with just 1/2 ounce of lemon herb, berry sage, rhubarb vanilla, or blueberry lavender syrup. garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig. for a layered effect, pour a brightly colored syrup in last, slowly over the back of a barspoon.

Make a booze-free Winter Citrus Collins

there are non-alcoholic sparkling wines on the market, or keep it simple and swap out the wine for club soda or non-flavored seltzer. the fresh juice and complexly flavored syrups will bring the flavor!

#6 Apple Pie Collins Cocktail

brown cocktail with an apple slice garnish, in a tall glass

swap the rhubarb and berry syrups in this recipe for a winter seasonal sipper, and use apple pie syrup instead. you can use vodka, gin or whiskey with great results! Works well in a drink dispenser for parties. Add club soda just before serving!

Skip the alcohol: Apple Pie NA Collins

skip the spirits and replace them with a non-alcoholic spirit. don't have a bottle? this drink is still a refreshing and sophisticated choice with an extra splash club soda in place of the liquor.
