Glass: tall cocktail glass
- 1 ounce Simple Goodness Sisters' syrup, Venise's favorite is Apple Pie
- 1 ounce half and half
- 5 ounces Cold Brew coffee
- fresh grated nutmeg, optional but so good!
- infused whipped cream, optional, but so good! (recipe follows)
How to make it: combine all measured ingredients in a glass of ice, stir. Top with infused whipped cream, if desired. Position a microplane or spice grater over the top of your glass, then rub the whole nutmeg on the grater until the spice drops onto the drink in little sprinkles.
Simple Goodness Sisters Syrup Infused Whipping Cream
makes 12 servings
- 1.5 ounces Simple Goodness Sisters' syrup
- 12 ounces heavy whipping cream
How to make it: combine all measured ingredients in an ISI whip cannister and shake to combine before you charge with a gas cartridge.
Or, use a stand mixer with a small bowl or a handheld mixer with a small bowl. Chilling the bowl in advance in the fridge for 20 minutes will help the cream whip faster. Whip the cream and syrup on the highest setting until peaks form (this is when the beaters leave ridges and peaks in the cream as they beat, instead of smooth or lumpy surface.) Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container until use.
