Soda Shop

Our home away from home, the Simple Goodness Soda Shop is a tasting room, a farm to table cafe, and our production headquarters. Just a few miles from our farm, the Soda Shop is the family friendly bar of our dreams. Inhabiting a historic building in Wilkeson, the earliest incorporated town in the state of Washington, the Soda Shop continues the building's 100 year tradition of serving good people good food and drinks. Come to shop and sample our products in person, and stay for happy hour or dinner!

Here, we take soda fountain treats and classic cocktails and infuse them with garden to glass flavors. The casual fare is seasonal, homey, and often doused in syrup.Rhubarb Vanilla Bean margaritas and Lemon Herb gin fizzes share a menu with Huckleberry Spruce Tip milkshakes, Marionberry Mint sundaes, hot, melty panini sandwiches slathered in pesto, and snack boards laden with local cheeses and house made pickles, jams and spreads. We grow as much as we can to support our menu at the Soda Shop on the Simple Goodness cocktail farm, and source more from local growers and makers. Bring your families to enjoy our open seating, friendly atmosphere and warm hospitality.

"If you’re in need of a snack, it’s the ice cream parlor you’re looking for. If your body is calling for hydration, it’s your refreshment station. And if you’re looking for something a little higher proof, they will check your ID and fill your glass. All of this in a storefront with details that look like it was designed for an Instagram Hall of Fame photo shoot."

WHAT TO DO IN WILKESON

This is one of the most common questions we’ve received and we’re so thrilled to introduce you to this little town of roughly 450 people. Located at the base of Mount Rainier National Park's Carbon River entrance, you can access scenic parks, hiking, the ghost town of nearby Fairfax, off-roading, Alpine lakes, and of course, delicious little places to eat. Check out the Historic Wilkeson Waking Tour & Vicinity Map for specific ideas.
